Q1. Identify two new skills that you have aquired in completing project one.
The skills I have aquired during project one include:
- Time management: Which helps me organise my time wisely and help me complete the work in the duration of the project.
- Using different technology: This helps me by getting an understanding about the different types of technology used in PBL to help me complete my project such as Web 2.0
Q2. Describe how effectively your group has worked in project one.
In project one I worked in a group of four. This group consisted of Jadd Abdallah, Nick Sader, James Katsetis and myself (Joshua Elagha). This group was very multi talented and we all had some sort of knowledge towards religion. Jadd Abdallah helped out with the Powerpoint and creating it while Nick Sader also helped him out and edited the powerpoint. James Katsetis attended the tutorials during class and organised our group meetings to help us out in the time management department. While I created the certificate and helped with the final organisation stages of the powerpoint presentation.
Q3. Explain how learning the Marist Charism has impacted your understanding of what it means to be an IPOF.
Learning the Marist Charisms has impacted the way I think about being an Inspiring Person of Faith by giving me more characteristics to choose from such as:
- A sense of family
- Simplicity
- A love of work
- Presence
- Devotion to Mary the Virgin Mother
Knowing theseĀ five Marist Charisms has helped me a lot in my project to know who my group and I should choose from in the preparation of the task. It gives me a better understanding of who represents Marist Charism and who doesn’t. Having these five Marist Charisms helps a person in life and the understanding of what it means to be inspiring towards not only yourself but towards others around you.
Q4. Discuss the benefits of producing work that contains multiple data types.
The benefits of producing work that contains multiple data types are as such:
- Multiple data types being used interests the audience more than just having text to read off.
- Having data types such as Hyperlinks, audio, videos and images etc. explains your presentation more and gets the message across easier than just having text.
- Multiple types of data makes the class have more fun than usual
